Hopeful People!
Grand Opening this Sunday! Wow! It’s hard to believe that the day has arrived to launch Hope Living Church! I’m so very proud of our team! So much time effort and love has gone into Hope Living Church. I believe we have put together a church that will impact our community and will impact Eternity as well!
Through the last month we have been meeting as a church, fine tuning our service and getting ready to have a church service that represents Jesus well and models the Hope that we have in Him.
Our Simple Purpose Statement is: “Living Out Hope through: Knowing God, Growing in his love and Showing his love to others.” This simple challenge of living our faith in Jesus in a tangible way that infuses our church and community with Hope will have a reverberatingeffect. I think it was Perry Noble that said ‘Found people find people.’ I’ll add to that by saying Hopeful people bring Hope to people!
Knowing God= Simply, a saving knowledge of Jesus as our Savior. It’s been said that true Christianity is not a religion; it’s a relationship- I totally agree!
Growing in His love= What is sometimes referred to as Spiritual Formation, Spiritual Growth or discipleship. We want all of us to maintain deep and growing relationship with God.
Showing His Love to Others= practical ministry, loving our brothers and sisters both saved and unsaved- meeting the needs of all through the power of the Spirit, both physical and spiritual needs
That’s pretty much it! We have a team of people ready to serve God and serve his children by loving them and encouraging them into a satisfying relationship with their Creator.
Please come and see! If you are ‘far from God’, we believe you will encounter His presence. Even if you are already part of another fellowship, you are always welcome to come out on Sunday nights and enjoy the worship experience with us at Hope Living Church.
